The Endoscope Tip Protector is a semi-rigid expandable mesh for protecting Endoscopes and delicate surgical tools during cleaning, storage and transport. They are designed in a way that it allows the tip to breathe thereby preventing moisture on the optics while still providing protection from direct and side impact. Protecting the tip and the tube using protective solutions is the best way to keep the instrument safe. Endoscope tip protectors reduce the chances for damage due to impact. The protectors are used at all times before and after a procedure including the manual wash. Medtrica’s tip protectors do not allow for moisture build-up in the instrument or around the lens, (If moisture does build up it can result in bacterial growth).
