The Wash-Checks Monitor is a user-friendly test designed to assess the effectiveness of the wash phase in hospital washer/disinfectors. Used with the SteriTec Wash-Checks Holder (WC 102), it allows for easy placement throughout the washer chamber. The test simulates the removal of blood and tissue from surgical instruments using synthetic test soil—free of actual blood components—to eliminate the risk of cross-contamination. The reusable holder mimics a hinged instrument to evaluate spray arm impingement and cleaning performance. Holder sold separately (WC 102).
